I think your choice of feathers on the triangle hypotenuses was perfect and I love the pebbles. Am I remembering correctly that you used this quilt briefly as your avatar before you finished Fandango 13?
I simply HAVE to start practicing FMQ! The right time is NOT when I have a quilt to quilt - it's when I'm between quilts! Which is practically never - LOL. I'm always planning the next one when I'm finishing the one I'm making. Right now, I'm thinking about how I'll quilt the one that's almost ready to quilt, and I'm not going to practice my pretty much non-existing FMQ skills on it! It's a gift for the woman who helped my DD through a rough time, and it's turning out vey nicely - so I don't want to take a chance on messing it up! Sigh!
