This is EXACTLY why I love scrappy quilts. Way back when I was a toddler I grew up with scrappy quilts on my bed and enjoyed many restful hours looking at the fabrics and finding beauty in them. Even the "uglies" became dear to me. I especially liked finding fabrics that I recognized from garments my mom had made. Your quilt is fabulous!

Great quilt--I have not made that design yet, looks complicated!
i am intrigued by your design wall--is it a hinged wall unit?? Looks like it would open and close?? If you purchased it, could you share the brand name and where you got it??

Nicely done! Love how you cut your strips to catch the "I Spy" effect. Love your quilt! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for responding to the quilt. It is very easy to do. I over sized my blocks a bit so I could trim them square. Most of the intersections, where it matters, came out close enough for me, better than I thought they would.

My design wall came from a fabric store that closed many years ago. It has seven panels that swing like doors and it is full of UFOs. It was originally used to display wedding gown lace. I bought that and several cutting tables and fabric shelves at the closing sale. Enough stuff to set up my very own studio.
    peace
