Default Split Nine Patch (Bonnie Hunter)

It took me forever and a day to finish this quilt. I was happy to start it, but it's 108 inches by 108 inches and I was so sick of it by the time I finally finished piecing it.

    Bonnie's pattern is here.

I used 3.5 inch squares instead of 2.5.

Moda Luna Loft for the batting (80/20, not a favorite of mine as it's flat and doesn't give much definition to the quilting). Glide thread in bright celery green.

The panto is simply called "Swirls". I apparently forgot to tag it on my computer with the designer so I'm not sure where it came from. I'm usually meticulous about that, but I overlooked this one!

That's a beautiful quilt. I love colors like that put together.

Great Split 9 Patch! It is such a versatile pattern and your quilting pattern makes it look like rain drops on it, so pretty!

It's beautiful. I always wanted to do that pattern but never started it.
