    Default Split spool blocks quilt

    A group of 8 of us did a fabric exchange....we each exchanged 2 strips with each other for a total of 16 strips which made 32 blocks. I wanted my quilt bigger, and to add fabrics to blend the colors better, so added another 16 strips ( a friend for each of the other fabrics).
    We had a sewing day yesterday, and I finished my quilt top...here it is:

    I have an omni ruler I used instead of the cardboard, but I am sure that would work too if you
    don't have a ruler. You need the ruler that does the quarter square triangle, not the
    one for half square triangles.
