Well I have been working on this thing now for like 3 weeks. It is my biggest quilt to date and it hasn't turned out so bad. I do realize I need a bigger machine with a deeper throat because it caused some puckering up on the back and on a few places on the front. :( I ripped a few seams out but alas did no good because when i got it back on the machine it puckered in the same places 3 times. I just finally accepted that nothing is perfect.

Quilts can be like the people who make them, flawed but unique. :):)

I personally am very proud of this quilt. I didn't rush with this quilt. I took my time with it but for now I am setting it aside and by aside I mean its going on MY bed. I was going to give this to my sister but after all that I want my first big quilt to be for me. I may at a later date, do some more quilting on the green and yellow spaces but we will see what time tells me to do to it, if anything.

Henry, it is absolutely awesome! You're right, you didnt rush on this one, you put a lot of work into it. The pattern and the colours are gorgeous, it's really pretty. I've tried quilting by hand and machine. Hand is hard, and i dont have small stitches. By machine is hard too, especially if it's a big quilt. From now on all my big quilts i am going to do in two halves, then join them. Someday i might get a darning foot for my machine and try that. Wow, this is a big quilt, and a huge accomplishment Henry :) Just love it! :) Oh yeah, i may have memory trouble, but i have a good memory for some things lol lol Now, if i remember correctly, first this quilt was gonna be for you and wifey, then for your sister, now you've stolen it back and it's just for you!!!!!! lol lol lol
