Default Square in a Square Quilt

Hi All. I just finished this quilt this afternoon. Not my best effort and it tortured me every step of the way. Lots of puckers on both the back and front. I can't seem to make a quilt without puckers no matter how hard I try. It was made with all stash material. The only thing I had to buy was the batting. This was also my first time using cotton batting. I liked it and would probably use it again. Ignore the rouge thread in one of the pictures, I just missed removing it before taking the pic.

Shari I love your quilt! You are way way too hard on yourself! This quilt just makes me happy ... it's so pretty. And with the cotton batting, I bet when it's washed the whole thing will have that special 'quilty' texture that I just love. Good job!

It turned out lovely! Don't worry about puckers, they will not be noticeable after washing. Thats a great way to use scraps.

This is only the second one I’ve seen using this pattern and I love them both! I intend one day to make one myself. Great job so stop feeling bad. Love it!

That is a cool quilt! and quilts are allowed to have puckers, especially after being washed. It will be loved, no matter what.
