    Default squeee! work in progress :)

    after about 10 practice rails i just got to the point where i decided to do it on the quilt itself.

    it's far from perfect and i can guarantee it will get better (maybe even better enough to come back and tear most of this) but i am SO pleased with the pattern and thread choices!

    i think - the more i look it - that echo quilting the star shape will be the block quilting choice too.

    taking all critique and advice, but merrily forging ahead

    Beautiful. The sashing is going very well and I like the idea of echoing the stars. I would also stitch in the ditch around each star block which will look great on the back to outline the sashing. Keep posting your progress.
