    That is so pretty. My first thought when I looked at it was that it would make a gorgeous shower curtain. Kind of looks like one hanging up there.

    Rox17.....Yeah I can see that....but then I can see alot of the quilts I do like that....tablecloths....couch covers.....wall hangings....etc....Thank you.....:-)

    It is charming. What a creative use of scraps. Many scrap quilts are purely utility. Yours is a work of art.

    how many do you make each year? you're so productive! it takes me months to finish one quilt, and definitely not perfect like yours!

    What a beautiful quilt!!!!!---and I also love the pieced borders. The outer borders would be lovely with appliqued things but I think the quilt would be magnificent without anything more as well.

    Uh Uh Uh ... Girl you da woman!

    I love love love it. Those colors are just the cat's meow all together like that. I don't know if I would mess with perfection, but, I never would had thought to add a curved border like you did either. That all must come from the years of experiance and use of patterns. Did you machine applique the half wedding ring pices onto the backing?


    Give yourself a BIG pat on the back, you really did a great job! Now, your mom is the recipent of the quilt right? She is gonna flip when she sees what you have done with those "scraps"!

    butterflwing.....let me say perfect they are not....I know where I went wrong...and mistakes are there...:-)..I know I've made at least 12 quilts last year not counting the baby quilts......I have to keep my dad busy and myself.....but the house suffers for it......:-)......them dust bunnies will be there when I'm gone so I just got to where I name them....:-)....and do what makes me happy....:-)

    RedGarnet222......Aww shucks......you sure know how to make a girl blush!.....:-).....The wedding ring is done like Eleanor Burns..."Egg Money" book shows....I sent Mom and Dad a picture and they loved it....Mom can't wait to see it......We are going up there this weekend....I can't wait for her to see it in person.......:-)
