Default St. Urho Day (only Finnish or MN people will know-smile)

I created this quilt for my sister-in-law and have never enjoyed making a quilt so much. It was just given to her so now I feel I can post it without her inadvertently seeing it. I hope you enjoy.

Great quilt! Very lovely piecing and quilting. I'm sure it will be loved.

I used to live in MN, and, I worked for a couple of years with a group of very active Finns who supported Salolampi, the Finnish language camp in northern MN. (Did I spell that correctly? Hmmm, not sure.) I loved working with them -- Great, lively, warm and clever people!

That is one beautiful quilt! But you can't just leave us hanging--tell us the story about St Urho Day.
