My daughter's best friend (and sister to her fiance) just moved into an apartment by herself. It's a beautiful place, brand new, with hardwood floors. Her parents bought her all new furniture, most black, with a seafoam green sofa and chair. I've only seen pics, but it's very contemporary. So I wanted to make her a housewarming gift to go on her sofa. I am not a big fan of batiks, but Bali Pops Chai Tea fit the bill perfectly here. I'm so pleased with how this came out--I'm a pretty traditional quilter, and this is totally different than anything I've made before. I had enough strips left over to make a pillow to go along with it. Hope you like it!
