    Default Stamped with real leaves

I loved the setting of the rose quilt I did using the Renae's rays and dyeing the fabric by sponging with Rit dye, so I made another but this time stamped it with real maple leaves. You put the paint on the back, put it on the fabric and gently press it on with a paper towel or paper covering it. Pick up the leaf and you have a lovely image. Put it down a second time and you get the feeling of a leaf further in the background.

Normally my backings are pretty dull but not this time.

I really like the effect you got with the leaves. And I love the backing as well-my kind of fabric.

Another stunning work of art! It looks like a frozen pond with the leaves trapped in the ice. Your quilting is beautiful!
