    Kara that's beautiful! The points look perfect to me; and I love the dark red - really emphasises the star. Keep us updated with your progress, won't you?

    I guess what really had me down were the 8 points in the very center. They were NOT playing nice...

    So, I ripped apart the very center, and stitched it back together. They're playing MUCH nicer now. :D :D

    Now, I'm totally in love with it!!! No idea how to quilt it yet... Thinking some wreath-like stuff, and 1/4" echo of the smaller diamonds (can you still call it "echo" if it's inside the diamonds??). Don't know about the squares and diamonds on the outside edge... hmmm ... needs some more thought.
