    Those are the blocks that are sewn around the star. There are only 2 blocks in this quilt, and after it is all sewn then the background color will get sewn on. Like I say, I don't know how big this is going to be yet. I may do just one more round of the diamond blocks and then finish it off from there. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay
