It is going to be wonderful for sure-off to a great beginning. I really love that controlled scrappy look. I am curious about this ruler. I have heard of them but have not seen one-maybe I should go shopping.

Your quilt is just beautiful. Fell in love with the pattern when I got the magazine in the mail and saw it on the cover. I set it aside to attempt when I am a little more confident in my cutting and piecing skills. It sounds like the ruler might be something worth investing in.

Started this for a friends son. I started it this past August and wanted to show everyone my progress.
I am using my Bloc-Loc Ruler for the HST and , imho, love the way it is finishing. Every block is different so each HST is made by twos, 400 total.
