This top is made from swap blocks in another group I belong to. The theme was to swap brights with Kona black, and they had to be a star block. Each of the stars measures 8" square.

Because each of the blocks are so bright, I wanted to add a bright border around each block and I grabbed the bright green and bright orange. Then, it was still a bit small for me, so I took some white on white fabric, and added a 6.5" (unfinished) border.

For the backing, I'm cutting the remaining green fabric and some more of the WOW. Each of the girls who did the blocks made a small siggie block. The siggies are going to be framed in white, then with the remaining orange fabric around. I'm still working on the label.

I'm going to be stippling the quilt probably in bright orange or lime green. DH thinks white.

What color do you think I should quilt it? Green, Orange, White?

Quilt Top completed - please excuse the bed. The top left block is the one I made

Beautiful, I love the bright colours. Your little model is a cutie!

Either the orange or green would look good. If it were for myself, I would quilt it in one of the nice bright blues from the blocks, and maybe bind with the blue as well. I know you didn't do all the blocks so matching could be an issue, but there are a couple of different blues already so I think you could find one that works.

Thanks! I like the idea of blue quilting. I'm thinking (because I have just enough left) of the orange to bind

Bright it is and I really like it! Is there such a thing as a bright variegated thread with some of the same colors in the thread as in your quilt blocks? I also like the blue thread idea too. Looking forward to seeing what you decide on.
Your lil model is a cutie pie. ;-)
