    I know that there are many who like the idea of making scrappy quilts, in order to use up scraps, but there are others who fear that using too many different colors or patterns, in too random a fashion, will be “messy.” Your quilt is a perfect one to show the doubters how beautiful a quilt can be when it uses just scraps. Your color palate is controlled, but varied, and the background color unites the colors. I love the border also, because it uses still more of the 4 patches.
