    Default Star String Quilt top

Excuse the loose strings. I had to snap pic before it started to rain.

Very cool! I haven't seen a string quilt quite like that. Is it from any particular pattern?

Very, very nice, really like the black stars next to bright fabrics. I'm planning on making one very soon using Mary Quilts instructions on what I believe she calls Star String block. Hope mine turns out as stunning as yours, which I like very much!

From the book "String Quilt Revival" by Baker and Sanders. Very easy to do. I did not use foundation pieces and not paper pieced......just cut the black pieces out and then add your strings.

I have her pattern too but so little time to get new quilts going when I am making the mad dash to finish up old UFOs.

I love this one, too pretty! It's one of those that make a secondary vision, will make you dizzy if you do it too many times, go back and forth from seeing stars or seeing diamonds!
