    You did what I have been debating on for the longest........making one huge block for a quilt top! That turned out wonderful and the border really sets it off. I know your father will be so proud to own it and I am so happy to see that someone has thought about (and pulled it off) a one block top.

    Thank you all!

    Billy....I did the center like that b/c my dad asked for a quilt that could go on his bed. I had already planned on doing a lap quilt of the 8" Star Struck blocks. Then I ran into the issue of "what do I do now??" I knew I did not have enough fabric to make more little blocks. Then that idea came to me. I'm glad it worked out.
