    i made this for a girlfriend. it is from a CAROL DOAK paper piecing book but had no name. i know there are a jillion star patterns out there but i haven't found this one. any ideas???

    I looked through a couple of books I have. The lightest pink looks a little like a block called "waste not", but I couldn't find anything that had all the elements in it. It may be an original block by her. It sure worked up, with your help, into a beautiful quilt. I'm sure your friend will love it.

    Beautiful Quilt! I really like the pinks, white and yellows you chose and the dark was the perfect touch :D Wonderful Job :D :D :D
    What about if you name your quilt your friends name + star?

    I have never seen this star, but your quilt is wonderful! I love the pinks, very VERY beautiful! Lucky friend. :)
