    beautiful, nice bright colors. I quilt stips at a time. quicker and easier.try it.

    Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I've been quilting on and off for years but just started doing more than sewing squares together. I watched a few tutorials on how to do this and the star block was something I came across during that process. Margarita McManus had one video about QAYG and the other one was Susan Claire. She does a great video of how to do the whole process. I just narrowed the sashing strips. Margarita was the one who did the borders around the blocks using wider for the top, sides, and bottom of each block. Someone suggested using a color wheel arrangement for the stars, red, orange, pink, yellow, green, aqua, blue and purple. You get two stars out of each cutting of your fabric. I'm sure I have the exact measurements somewhere.
