    I just finished this quilt, with lots of suggestions and input from some of the forum members here. I was playing with some leftover strips from an earlier project and made 5 star points. After some thought, this was the plan I came up with to use those.

    I quilted a border on two sides, leaving the other two truncated, and continued the "unfinished" concept by binding the two bordered sides and finishing the other two sides with a facing.[ATTACH=CONFIG]570547[/ATTACH]

    Nicely done! So I see you did a lot of straight line quilting and you mentioned in your original post you were "ruler averse". So did you freehand all those straight lines? If so FANTASTIC job!!!!!
