    Default Stars and Rainbow

Here are a couple of finishes for 2018. The Sapphire (in my case, Ruby) Stars was a mystery quilt hosted by Kevin the Quilter. It finished at 73" x 95". The Rainbow was the result of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2017 hosted by SoScrappy. It was a year-long challenge using a different color each month. It finished at 66" x 92".

I apologize for the poor picture quality--I was battling both the flu and the wind!

Wonderful quilts. I like these kinds the best, lots of color and using up small pieces. Now I want to make one similar.

Both are really nice, but I just love the Ruby Stars. Something about those colors makes this quilt seem "authentic". What I mean by that is in my personal opinion it has everything in it that a quilt should have; stars, great colors, interesting border & blocks. Super job!
