I don't know how I missed this thread until now. You create beautiful quilts! I so see one of these in my future. Thanks much for the tutorial. I have a whole bunch of batiks to use for this quilt.

I don't know how you do this using your floor to layout the quilt. Having to keep picking it back up and all...

Thank you everybody for the wonderful comments and compliments. I really appreciate them.

Sewsewquilter--I make due having to use my kitchen floor, but I've been after my DH to let me put a design wall in our living room, as that's the only place where we have room. He said that was fine with him. We still haven't got the new carpet laid though, so when we do, I get a design wall! YEAH!!!!!

Hey Ditter! I hope you do make one, as it is a really beautiful pattern and makes a beautiful quilt! If you do, we want to see pictures!!!

    Thanks again everybody!

Here is the link to the Completed Northern Lights quilt top with the borders, in case you missed it. It turned out just beautiful.

Thank you! and I agree. I don't feel 54 most days. I love this quilt. I think it is one of the prettiest ones that I've made. I am thinking that I will have to make another one some day.
