Here's a progress pic of the t-shirt quilt laid out with the strips, I had to ditch the green/turquoise/blue batiks because the turq had a fatal bleeding disease and I couldn't work the other two in, I also booted the yellow - which is just as well, she really wanted orange to be the star of the background show.

I love making this baby/child quilt. The pattern is from Pleasant Valley Creations and is called "My Favorite Quilt Pattern".

This is such a fun thread! Thanks Watson!

SoozieQ I love how you used the cardinals in that pattern. I've been looking for creative ideas for using large scale novelty prints. This one is marvelous!

I have a couple of fabric pulls waiting to be cut, I'll go take a couple pictures!!

    Here's my first one!

This is for my son. The antique toys will be in the center of churn dashes. The other colors will be the corners and the brown strings on the sides. I can't wait to cut this one out!

    And the second one!

This will be a charity quilt intended for tweens/teens. The tula pink fabric will be in the center of some stars and other blocks with the solids linking them together. It's a pattern from 'Better Holmes and Garden Quilting Magazine' I bought at the end of last year.

juliea9967, I can see why that is called "My Favorite Quilt Pattern" and kristijoy, lovely fabrics, can''t wait to see the completed tops.

My Start to Finish has hit a little bump in the road. My dear, sweet Fanny, (that's my Elna 500) has decided it hates how my new sidewinder bobbin winder, winds the bobbin! Now I have to mess with the broken winder on Fanny. Hopefully, I'll be back to sewing tomorrow.
