Geevee, your daughter's t-shirt quilt is going to be such an awesome keepsake of all of her runs! I had fun checking out where they had been. I've been to Kinsale, Ireland just recently. If that's the origin of her Kinsale shirt, I can imagine she had a fantastic time on that run and beautiful scenery!

Julie, your Colour choices are fabulous and the pattern is awesome! I can't tell from the pic if you worked with a jelly roll, but looks like it would work with one!

Kristi, You are so organized to be two quilts planned ahead! Love your fabric choices and looking forward to seeing the quilts!

i will hopefully get my quilt project bound tomorrow. The quilting is done

Thanks everybody - the top is finally put together and the flannel backing washed and pressed and ready to become the back, I wish this had been as much fun as it looks, this athletic fabric is rather slinky to work with, even with a stabilizer on it. The narrow side border has a slight bit of a wave to it, not sure if I'll remove them and try again or see if the binding with straighten them out, it's not bad but once I quilt it to the back it might make things hairy. I don't know, debating, just glad it's all one piece now.

Juliea - that top is so pretty!

Kristi, can't wait to see the progress of your two, love the fabrics!

Sync - I hope you were able to work the bobbin winder problems out so you and Fanny can get back in business.

SoozieQ, I've always wanted to tell you I love your avatar picture!

Kwiltr, I'm not sure if she ran over there or not, she did go to Europe about a year and a half ago but I don't recall if she did any races (she is Irish-blooded though lol).

Well, geevee ....... Fanny was up and running today but ........ ummmmm ..... due to some stupid operator errors with her piecing, there was more unstitching than stitching going on. Anyway, I'm still trying to see if I place my bobbins upside down if that would help ..... at least then the thread would be wound the way Fanny prefers.

LOL Sync, piecing errors are an affliction we all share. I need a new ripper after this t shirt top, I just wore it down to dull. Hope Fanny won't mind the upside down bobbin - good luck!

Here's my finish from the yellow and grey fabrics. Didn't end up using them all as I started out to make a throw but my husband wanted a wall hanging, as we just re-did the living room and there was the perfect spot. Just need to get it hung, now!

On New Years Day, I shared a picture of fabric for a new project. Here is the start to finish of that pile of fabric.
