soozie- wow! The quilt is beautiful... that basic pattern is my favorite but you have really outdone it. And seriously......4 days? I would still be looking at fabric, or something... no way could I have a finish that quick. I am beyond impressed!

Ok. I just finished this thread and I want to praise each and every one of you. Impressive on every level. Thank you for showing us your pile of starting fabric, sharing your design thoughts, and your finished projects. heck-even ube messy room! It has all been a pleasure. I have loved seeing all of the creativeness but mostly, for me, it has been the finish. I have some work to do, you guys are putting me to shame for not finishing some projects. Congratulations to each and everyone of you for sharing your progress and beautiful projects......

Ok, here we go.
the first picture is one piece of fabric that I've had for many years and I did not know what to do with it. It was about 3/4 yard, hand dyed.

then the second picture is something artistic I did by slicing up the fabric, keeping the slices in order, and adding bars of a neutral green

Anyone beginning a new quilt, consider taking a quick picture and starting a thread with your fabrics here, so we can see your Start to Finish projects as well. It can be quilt tops or total finishes, doesn't matter!
