you will need 35 blocks to achieve that size ...
I love making strip quilts and have found that if you make your full number of foundations, then start your center strip and just chain them through, you will actually complete more than one block a day ...
Another thing my friend taught me is to take your strips, stitch them end to end, roll them up and make your own jelly rolls ... it saves a lot of fussing around and having to think what to select next ...
and, best of all??? the big container I had full of strips was condensed down to a few rolls of scraps ... not even big enough to fill one of those plastic shoe box thingys they sell at walmart.
The quilt in my avatar was completed in this manner <wave>
