Gorgeous! Definitely fall inspired. Very rich looking. And your piecing...goodness! Do not rip any of that out! ;)

MJ--the center is a soft orange and is supposed to be in a BIG contrast with the rest of the block. I love that fabric--it's so beautiful--kind of a peachy yellow--not beige.
It's too late to change the middle square since I have 30 more already made to the green strip....

So, either I call it "It's a Jungle Out There!" or maybe "Have You Tried the New Camo From Wal-Mart?" or I made a change... it's very hard to get FALL out of my head since each of those fabrics--well minus two--holler FALL to me... I'll play with fabric tomorrow and see what I can come up with.

    Stay tuned...

PS.. Chele--trust me--rippping some out is not a priority!! I will make something from the blocks that are together...a table runner. But I don't want to complete more as planned--I'm just not a jungle kind of girl.

The fall colors are very pretty but the 1st green from the center kind of breaks up the flow of colors. If it were me I would omit it all together or use it use it in the outside area.

I think that it is nice. Maybe that green has some blue in it that's throwing you off. Just put fall decorations with it and it will suggest autumn.

It makes me think of Christmas and candles as it is. I like it.

    Karla,
Light orange sounds nice, on my monitor it is white/beige.

    I wouldn't re-do anything, I never do.

With a fall theme, it will be awesome.

Oh! The rest of the blocks are only to the gold strip--so I can take the green one out. I'll be up early for chores--so will tackle this afterward.

You know, each one of these fabrics individually makes me drool, but together it's more of a gag. I sure hope one of my kids needs a table runner--I'll need to get this out of the house.

I agree that the centers give it a throb and glow feeling, very nice!
Nothing wrong with any of the fabrics in my view, but look at it with a distancing tool.....
    1. through the wrong end of a pair of binoculars
    2. with your back to it looking in a mirror over your shoulder
    3. in a photo taken from a distance
    4. reflecting in a darkened undraped window at night

Does that make you change your mind/ have a different perspective on it?
