I am having trouble with these blocks, keeping them straight. I have made lots of regular log cabins with no problem, but on these quarter log cabin blocks, they keep getting a bit squiffy and I am not getting the consistent size I need. Any suggestions????
Thanks!

I like it. I think it is so pretty and of course you won't see the effect of it until the quilt or runner or wall hangin is all put together. I'll have to get that pattern and give it a try. I think yours is going to turn out great. Don't be too hard on your self over it. I like it the way it is. Huggies, Fay

Doesn't look jungle to me and I actually like the colors. I agree that it is sometimes hard to know if something is going to be the right combination or not when you start a project. When I feel a project of mine isn't headed in the right direction I go to my stash and "audition" other fabrics to put in the blocks. And on occasion I have donated some of my blocks that I personally don't like to my guild's community service group.

Beautiful, and definitely very rich. To me it says early Fall, when you have the bands of color. Some of the trees are still bright green, all the way to the ones that have already lost their leaves. That is my very favorite part of the season. But . . . if you need to get it out of the house I would be happy to send you my address!
