Here is the quilt I was talking about here....

Could it really be a 'my first quilt'? Sorry about the bad angle. It was roped off and other people there so I couldn't get a really good pic. I have no idea if it was a 1 person or group quilt. The tag didn't say. It is also pretty big.

I thought this was interesting. Another blue ribbon winner.

And last....This was said to be made from scraps from the quilt above it. Do you ever have that many scraps?

Okay I agree, that doesn't look like a first quilt to me (you can see mine off there in my avatar).
As for the other two I would be mad if I had that much extra fabric. It eats me up when the amount of fabric required is clearly not right. There is such a fine line between "oops - I have to recut this part" and lets have so much fabric leftover we can make another quilt. :( If that's quilt store quality fabric, you're paying a huge chunk of money for it.
I have shown animals in 4h so we were always a bit protected from the who you know problem, and while I love my first quilt I know it would never compare to your photos let alone the real thing.

They are all pretty! The first one could be a first quilt, you never know the talents that some folks have.
As for the scrappy one, I save all my srapes And I always buy extra fabric, so I could probably make a few extra quilts.
