    What a fabulous idea. I could use one for myself as my DH and I do not go out often, but since I have to drive, it would be nice to have a cooler steering wheel, as the car sits in the sun, although not as hot as in TX, it still gets hot here in New England too.

    I don't think shorter elastic will make it curl up. The shorter it is, the less likely it will curl since the curled position would actually have a bigger diameter than what it is now.
