I thought I'd post a picture of the youngest member of our family, Stella. She's a little over a year old and loves to be in the quilting room with me when I'm quilting. She'll wander wherever she wants and some times will end up in this empty cubby hole of the cubby shelves where we keep our stash of material.

We named her after the character "Stella" in the movie "A Streetcar Named Desire". My wife always wanted to have a cat named Stella so she could go out on the porch and call for her "Stellaaaaa! Stellaaaa!" :)

Looks like she's found the perfect place for her job as quilt inspector. And she seems to be taking her job very seriously.

She does look serious. Don't try to grab the wrong fabric swatch or you'll be pulling your hand back with scratches on it.

    Gem,

I am interested in the quilt in the background of your post. Please, would you post a larger picture and tell us a little about it? Thanks. Suz

What a cat friend!! Love it.

    Aww...Stella is cute!
She's watching over the stash to make sure no one steals it.
