    Well, I have finished my second quilt. My daughter picked out the fabric and this is what she is ending up with. I have so much more to learn but I sure am enjoying every bit of it!! This is a great place to get help!!

    Using the black in the middle of the rail gives it wonderful depth, almost 3D-ish.

    Depending upon on how I squint, I see either the black floral as the main rail, or the turquoise.

    It's such a simple pattern but choosing the right fabric combination elevates it to fabulous.

    Instead of the standard Light, Medium, Dark, you did a Light, Dark, Medium, and it really, really makes a difference.

    Wow!! Great job!! You have a real eye for color!
    Congrats on having so much talent so soon...LOL! I'm a newbie too but my work looks like one...you look like an "oldie" :D :D
