    I like that very much, I may have to try that layout. Our scrap quilt group is working on a log cabin, and I'm discovering I love them!

    I am like the others - have not seen this particular variation of Log Cabin but love it and I am also thinking of scraps and fat quarters! Can't wait to see it finished! Thanks so much for sharing it and the inspiration!

    You've built in the sashing, so all you need is a border, if you want to make it bigger. You have several colors to choose from in the colors in the quilt. If you don't want to make it bigger, I think you should add a border of the same brown as the sashing that equals the width of the sashing to balance the outside borders with the inside sashings.
