Default Still working on siilk quilt ....

It's been a busy week. I have 12 blocks finished and have spent the good part of the weekend cutting the remainder of the shirts. Now it's no return! Everything is cut and now I can concentrate on sewing. I'm going to try to get 35 blocks completed for the quilt ... as long as the fabric takes me there!! Asked him how big he wanted the quilt and the answer was 5 x 7 blocks. Wish me luck ... Here are more blocks I've completed.
    Enjoy!

Very pretty! I made a Hawaiian shirts quilt a few years ago, using another technique and cotton shirts, and it was lots of fun! I made matching pillow shams too.

This quilt you are making for him is going to be beautiful! What a lot of work, but it will be worth it, I'm sure!
