too sweet....and I'll get it done. Right now, I am trying to take care of decluttering the closet. He painted and everything came out....What a stinking mess.

I am always seeing posts about how to get started building a stash....I always want to scream...make sure you included solids in your purchases. So easy to pick up prints, prints, and more prints. But I always end up having to purchase more solids...

I love that! Your choice of colors and the overall design gives this quilt a very modern feel.

It looks like you're using a quilt as you go technique that doesn't have visible joins, which I like better than the way I know to do it. Could you describe your technique?

I pretty much use this technique all the time. Sometimes I have resorted to the sash joins but mostly stick with this. It is from Kaye Wood's 6 hour quilt video/book. The difference is I don't use a serger as she does in her video, or really follow the pattern like she does.

Someone said they didn't like the thick seams this created, but I always topstitch on those long seams anyway just to make sure it is secure.

I am happy with being able to quilt using this technique, but it is still a long process.

I hope you will use it or gift it because it would be a shame to have it sit in a closet. Oh and I love the colors and fabrics you used. Were they all from your stash?
I had to buy more white but pretty much came from what I have in my closet. The same fabrics pop up over and over in
    other quilts/projects.
