I just read and posted on Quiltinghere's thread on how to organize your quilting projects and wanted to share my idea with everyone else. I use my used priority boxes for this. I cover them with wrapping paper (heavy weight). A large flat rate box ( the 13.95 one) for the bottom and a large flat rate (the 10.95 one) for the top. You will have to cut down one side to fit. I then label the outside with the name of the project. I think the look prettier than regular boxes or bags.

Thanks for the directions. I was wondering what size box these were. Now I see it's actually 2 size boxes.

Nice tip. Do you think the postal workers would get suspicious if I keep going in for boxes, but never mail anything out?

Good idea. I think I will do that for some of my projects.
I've done the same thing with boxes but wrapped them in fabric with batting inside and out and used them for gift boxes. Decorate the top and the box is part of the gift.

    Nice!
I use large cereal boxes for my quilt magazines. I cut off the top, cut diagonally side to side, cover w/ contact paper & have a free-standing box in which to put the magazines for easy access. I've seen similar plastic ones at Staples & decided to make my own.
