    The way I store fat quarters, too, except in shoe boxes, and without the lid, since they are in a bookcase with doors....without using a lid, I can put strays on top of those in the box.

    I think JoAnn's also has these or ones that are similar. I know they have the ArtBin ones. They usually have a storage sale at 40-60% fairly frequently.

    I have been storing mine like this for a few years now but WalMart had some with hinged lids on clearance and they were wide enough for 3 rows of FQ. I love it this way.

    I bought racks at a yard sale that are for DVD and the fat quarters look awesome on them. My DH buys fat quarters any time he can and loves to display them!

    I use the under-the-bed tubs for fat quarter storage. There are a bit heavy, but, they sure hold a lot.
