    I'd also like to know what you put on the outside of the tube to make it easier to roll them up. Do you use acid free paper anywhere? Do you need to worry about the material content of the tube damaging the fabrics?

    I've thought of rolling mine often. If I can ever find the space to keep them, this is what I will do too.

    Hi my tubes are PVC so have covered them with cotton fabric then rolled. The outside fabric is also cotton and have just tied some with strips of fabric until I am placing them on shelves I have in meantime elastic bands round some of them but will either tie or tack stitch before finally putting them away. Please excuse untidy room as waiting for slider robes to be fitted.

    Sounds like your DH is a keeper.
    This floral quilt is really beautiful. I love the colors and the triangles around the borders.
    This looks like a wonderful way to store quilts. It would save having to take them out and refold.
