    That is beautiful. I always make a test block when making something intricate like this. It helps me know what to expect and what mistakes to avoid. A storm at sea is on my to do list.

    Your block is beautiful! If you do decide to give the quilt away, may I suggest my house? And you can have visiting rights any time! Seriously, I think you should keep this for yourself!
