    I prefer the second also, though it does tend to drop th wave pattern.

    Both wonderful work -- alot of motion in the first, as expected ! And there's that perfect circle formed in the second -- an unexpected result? Thanks for sharing these -- the same pattern, such different looks.

    Wow, what a difference. Adding the points to the border really changed the the way you see the pattern. Thank you very much for sharing. They are both beautiful!

    I like both of them ,but you're right, number 2 looks more "starry" than a Storm at Sea. What if you changed the color of the points for the border? Put white points in the dark border. Just a thought. Love your quilts!
