These are quilts I made for my DGKs. One is on the theme of what SunBonnet Sue, and her brother, might do in our home area. The other is a story I wrote for my son when he was very small.

Dyn The Unicorn looks like a good story. The quilt has certainly piqued my curiosity as to what the story is.

    Thank you.

In the story, the boy goes out into the backyard and meets a unicorn. After a day of play with the unicorn and his best friend, the unicorn disappears into the rainbow. The story came about because my DS asked me to make him a cape with a black unicorn under a rainbow. Dyn is derived from a Welsh word for dark. My son is one of the characters in the story.

What a wonderful concept! And what a great job you did on both of them. To transfer the stories into quilts had to be a major project. Beautifully done!!!

Thank you. Yes, I had to do some heavy editing to make the book fit on a quilt, but it was worth it!

Both of these quilts ended with Fair Theme blue ribbons, which I was very pleased with.
