great quilt---and you know- you can name YOUR quilts anything you want- you do not have to copy the designer's name- generally on my label I name MY quilt- if I used a pattern I add to the label- designed by _____, as ____. or, based on the pattern _______. you can name this one 'stars & stripes' if you want to.

Personally, I think it should be called "Stars and Stripes," but the pattern maker didn't ask me. 
Several years ago, I had decided to make a quilt for all 5 of my grands, and this is the last (until further notice). This one is for my youngest grandson, who will be 6 in August. It turned out rather large.
