    I made one like this. I did mine all in reds and pinks. I started it early in January of this year. It was to be done and out for Valentine's Day. I quilted finally in November. It is now waiting for binding. It is really big. I cut a bunch of fabric before I started. I cut so much the quilt wound up being 110" x 98" Sheesh it is big and very heavy! I will post a picture when I finally finish it.

    Not sure how big this one will be but as big as the purple strips will allow. I will post pictures on this board as I go along. Thanks everyone.

    I saw the beginning of your quilt and it is beautiful! Will enjoy seeing the finished product. I have seen the term "string quilt", but I have no idea what it means! Can you explain it to me? Your help would be great, I'd like to try this. Thanks in advance.
