Hi there, I love all your scrappy quilts. I was playing around with my scraps this morning and thought I had come up with something new. I thought I was quite clever and that mine looked pretty good but guess what -- This is exactly the pattern I came up with and I had never seen it before. I am fairly new to quilting (only started last year) and have never seen this configeration until today.
I started making and wearing batik dresses about thirty odd years ago and couldn't bear to throw the scraps away so saved them for when I was older to make quilts. Well, I'm there and I've started and just love love love my quilting time. I should have figured that someone had already designed this pattern making the strips into strippy squares. Guess I hadn't thought that far ahead. I have heaps of batik scraps so will not have to buy any material for quite some time. Having been a sewing person all my life I am very addicted to fabrics already.
Just love love love this QB. Cheers from Gleniveve
