    I made this comfort quilt for a dear friend who's just begun chemotherapy. All the fabrics are batiks (my FAVORITE!) This was a bit of a challenge for me as I'm not a big fan of scrappy quilts. I had a heck of a time choosing fabrics. You should have seen my sewing room, there was fabric EVERYWHERE!

    The pattern is Strip Twist from this website if anyone wants to make one!

    For some reason whenever I get hubby to hold up a quilt so I can take a pic, our dog sits down right in front of the quilt!

    Oh shes very pretty , she looks like a princess, and the quilt looks great, I really like it , good job :D

    Casey is actually a "he"...shih tzu/lhasa apso. Definitely a Prince!

    That is just beautiful and it cheers me up just looking at it. When your friend sees this, it will brighten their day along with their spirits.

    And a very sweet little friend to boot -- I mean, not literally.
