That's a lot of strips! Now you have to find a place to store them until you use them. I cut left overs into strips.

So that's what 100 yards of fabric looks like all stripped! Nice work.

How old (and experienced) is your granddaughter that she can offer you such innovative advice? I wish I had youngsters who cared like she seems to. Lucky you, and now Y'ALL can get busy making all those scrappy quilts; we're all watching for pics.

My grand daughter is 17 and been plying with fabric, wasting thread on the serger, etc since she was 2.She has a lot of great ideas.I am doing a puss in the corner with and extra outer row now and will post pics when done.I started with a new blade it lasted all the way in stripping.I hope this answers most questions. I will make a lot of scrappy queen sized tops.

OMG what a lot of cutting, I think I wouldn't have been able to lift my arm after all that cutting. That's absolutely amazing, and when you're ready to quilt you'll have all the strips cut and ready to go.

Love all the possibilities, but definitely would have wanted some kind of cutting system. Time for Bonnie Hunter ideas with all the scrappy possibilities.
