How old (and experienced) is your granddaughter that she can offer you such innovative advice? I wish I had youngsters who cared like she seems to. Lucky you, and now Y'ALL can get busy making all those scrappy quilts; we're all watching for pics.

My grand daughter is 17 and been plying with fabric, wasting thread on the serger, etc since she was 2.She has a lot of great ideas.I am doing a puss in the corner with and extra outer row now and will post pics when done.I started with a new blade it lasted all the way in stripping.I hope this answers most questions. I will make a lot of scrappy queen sized tops.

OMG what a lot of cutting, I think I wouldn't have been able to lift my arm after all that cutting. That's absolutely amazing, and when you're ready to quilt you'll have all the strips cut and ready to go.
