[quote=miholmes]Okay....some people are blessed with an acctual ROOM to dedicate to this addition called quilting. I was told I could use the basement....

Oh my gosh!! It's wonderful!! I wish we had basements (or even attics) here in Florida. If we did maybe I could have something like you have. I love it! And just think of all the space! You even have a big tv. Congrats!!! 8-)

NO! NO! Don't paint the knotty pine!!!! It is beautiful. I love wood and find it a shame to paint stuff as lovely as this. What a great room.

I love your sewing room, it's roomy and well organized. Where is your fabric stash? I have 2 large bookcases filled with fabric organized by color (somewhat). I love being able to leave a project out at the end of the day. I cllean the whole room after finishing a project! Happy sewing.

Well, I for one am very jealous!
And even though knotty pine goes in and out of vogue, I wouldn't paint it!
Wish I could say I had a room like yours! I don't even have a basement!

Not much??? Can you see how green with envy most of us are? What a wonderful room. Just watch out for the humidity... it will ruin everything.
