Here are a couple of pics for you to ponder.
I got the cubicles at Target - around $16 for 6, if you put 2 sets together with cable ties you get more then 12 spaces. I noticed K mart has some as well. The cable ties keep it more stable- these I had to get a wal-mart, target did not have them.

I really like those...we have used those when doing our craft shows. It allows for a variety of designs and is very portable and easy to build or rebuild as your needs change.

    Very nice.

Oh yea I would say so, and this is just a very small amount. There are 50 thing about fabric running through my head so I will share one or two.
Rescuing 20 tons of fabric from going to the trash is a good idea if you have lots of time to wash it and lots of space to store it. These pics are mostly my cottons not the rescued fabric. (I developed a serious container addiction) - the garage is full of containers of washed fabric- yes the car still barely fits.
This pic is before all the fabric.

Ok my stash looks little again. LOL!! I've seen those wire baskets before but never thought of using them for fabric. Thank you for posting the pictures so I could see what they were.

These wire cubes are the best! I've had mine for about 8 years now and they are so adaptable to different locations. Currently, I have them in a closet below the clothes bar. Before that, they were along a wall in my sewing area.

I love the baskets. The black ones are best in my opinion, they do not distract form the colors of the fabric.
