WOW! There are some absolutely spectacular quilts on this thread! So happy to see it was resurrected. Here is my most stunning quilt ... It took me about 2.5 months to piece it together (I used the quiltworx pattern - PP), and it was quilted by Krista - who is a member on here.

I designed this quilt using EQ7 and it took me about 5 months to sew as I was working at the time. My DH had to make my design wall larger as it measures 108 x 108. It is a strip quilt made from triangles, diamonds, and 1/2 hexagons. All made with 60 degree angles. It was not difficult but you really have to pay attention when assembling. I have included a pic of the inspiration that started me off on this adventure - it is the tiny pic

This is using a Ricky Tims Kaleidascope pattern--times 5! Was really hard to start with, but made harder when I ended up with 3 Y seams in the big one, and 2 in one of the medium ones. Double batted (wool on top, 80/20 below) and very modern quilting.

Qualifies as stunning. All the shades of aqua and the circles give the quilt a Caribbean vibe. Nice work!
